Week 7 had lots of good match ups and there is now a sole leader in first place. So congrats on that Parolin. Davis still can't buy a win while Lyon has won 3 in a row.
There were two FAAB bids this week, both by Regan. he picked up Salcido of Fulham for $1 while dropping Pantsil and he also claimed Obinna of West Ham for $1 while dropping Di Santo of Wigan. The FAAB Report has been updated.

Belated Week 6 Recap
Sorry the league hasn't been updated for last week. I was in Vegas and got back Tuesday then hurt my arm playing football. None the less, here is your week 6 recap.
The last undefeated team is no longer as Carr lost to Gargiulo by a score of 38-9. Davis is the last team with out a win as he fell 22-16 to Bolin. Paradise and Petitpas had the closest matchup, with Paradise edging out the win 28-27. Lyon also won by a point over Nitzberg, 18-17, giving Lyon a two game winning streak.
Malouda continues to be the highest scoring player in the league even though he only put up two points in week 6. The Week six leader in points was Samir Nasri with 14, which came on two late goals. Arsenal still lost to pathetic WBA 3-2 though. They suck.
Week 6 was a big one for the goalies, with four goalies scoring seven (Foster, Green, Schwarzer, Hart with 7).
Five of the top 15 players in the league hail from Chelsea.
Reminder that FAAB bidding is open each week. No bids this past week though. Get lineups in to me this weekend if you want changes.

The best part might be how the guy goes nuts on the celebration. Congrats buddy, you shot it right at Almunia. That is how you read a scouting report.

Week 5 Recap
Week 5, aka Berba Week, is over. One team left unbeaten and that is Carr. Lyon got his first win. Berba scored a hat trick while Malouda scored two more to stay atop the top player list. And Fabregas blew out his hamstring. So, just another ho-hum week in the EPL.

Week 4 Recap and Week 5 Preview
Sorry it took so long to finish up the week 4 scoring. I was busy sitting at home all week and then before I knew it the FIFA 11 demo came out. So once that happened I lost all track of time.
Anyways, we now have two teams who are 4-0 and two teams that are 0-4. Everyone else sits between those records. Parody at it's finest I think.
The best player through four weeks so far has been Florent Malouda, followed by Theo Walcott and Didier Drogba. With Walcott sidelined for another 3-5 weeks, it will be interesting to see if Malouda can hold off his teammate for the top spot. The two most surprising players would have to be Craig Gardner of Birmingham, who is owned by Carr, and Andrew Carroll of Newcastle United who is owned by Regan. Regan will need Carroll to continue his fine form as he just lost Bobby Zamora to injury.
There were a few serious injuries this past weekend including Zamora and Lyon's midfielder Antonio Valencia, so don't be afraid to make some trades or some more FAAB pickups.
As we move on to week five, the best matchup this week will be Carr vs Chickery. Carr sits at 4-0 but Chickery is not far back at 3-1. Chickery's team has scored 116 points this year while Carr has put up 129. As always though with head to head, it's not just about how much your team scores but also about what your opponent does. Carr's opponents have scored just 69 points against him, the lowest in the league. Paradise's team has put up a league best 159 points, but I am just 2-2 thanks to 116 points against (and that includes Davis putting up just 3 points against me in week 2!).

How about Stewart Downing for Villa with this beautiful diving header to curl it into the far corner. Downing has been terrific so far for Villa this year, making the loss of James Milner easier to swallow.

Week 4 Is Upon Us
Week 4 is upon us with the EPL season kicking back off on Saturday. Lots of fun matches including ManU-Everton at 7:30 am on Saturday. Hope you have FSC+ though to watch it.

From the England U-21 match, Danny Welbeck finishes a nice combination between Tom Cleverley and Jack Wilshere. The future is bright for these three kids who all play in the Premier League. Cleverley and Welbeck represent Manchester United while Wilshere plays for Arsenal, when he's not busy taking pictures up young girls skirts or just plain beating girls up. Full story here and here.

FAAB Results
Faab bidding is now closed for this week and it was a good first week of bidding. A few late minute bids stole a few players.
Singer lost Meireles to Gargiulo at the death and Bolin's late Balotelli bid was shockingly the best received. In fact, no one bid on Balotelli until the final 30 minutes of FAAB.
Asamoah Gyan went for the highest while Van der Vaart had the most action. I have to run and don't have time to fix all the rosters, but here is all the bidding. I'll update the full site on Tuesday. Great job to all.

New Players Added to Players List
Now that all the transfers have been sorted out, the players list is up to date with all the available players for the league. Bids are due by Friday at 5 pm est.
In terms of the FAAB added back to teams who lost players, here is what we will do. I don't want to give waiver priority and just let the five teams get the five best available players because there should be some punishment for taking guys who looked likely to leave (Mascherano). That's part of the risk in drafting guys. I would do it by draft round, but I don't remember where each guy was picked and that chat box doesn't go back far enough.
So I'm awarding FAAB based on my original email with two tweaks, bumping up Aquilani's FAAB and lowering Mascherano's. Bellamy and Aquilani are both going to get 12 FAAB given back since Bellamy was a projected starter at striker and since Aquilani was taken in the second round. Diamanti will get 8 FAAB, Insua will get 6 FAAB and Mascherano will now move from 8 to 6 FAAB because he was such a late pick and we knew he was likely to leave. That should work for everyone.
The FAAB budgets have now been adjusted to reflect these changes.
Lastly, here are the top 20 available free agents based on Salary Cap value. Don't forget though that there are still lots of valuable guys out there not on this list who have accumulated a good amount of points. When you put in a FAAB bid, let me know who you want to release please.
